We are working with students, teachers, and community members to increase our understanding of and appreciation for the special education.
Who is it for:
Leaders from initiatives based communities and businesses come together with counselors, educators, prevention specialists, family-serving professionals, parents, health-care professionals, and all those who are working in the field of, and care about, the well-being of youth. All participants will definitely benefit from being part of this website.
The website is designed for all those who are working with and/or are caring about youth, and it is bringing together people of various backgrounds, and from multiple international locations, who are sharing the common goal of working together to establish healthy environments and communities where children and youth can work on their future through asset building.
Quests are treasure hunts to learn more about your towns and the natural world around them. You become an explorer and a treasure hunter! Observation skills, riddle solutions, and good “place-based” fun lead to a treasure stash – a box with a special stamp and stamp pad, a message book, and pen. Bring your own passport, special recording notebook and/or stamps to record your hike!
Disclaimer: While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the quest information, portions may be incorrect or not current. Be prepared for your hike and be sure to check the current weather and conditions before heading outdoors. Remember water, sunscreen, bug repellent, and proper footwear. Always exercise common sense and caution.
